What’s It All About
Here’s hoping this week’s painting “Sweet Opportunity” might offer you some solace from this world in which we live. It’s 5×5 inches, painted in oils on panel. Oooh la la figs are so fun to paint. And, even though this was a still life set up in my studio, I had to add imaginary clouds to the scene before I finished this one.

November 30, 2024The Floating Fig! I love this painting with its most interesting colors. Our figs have a lot of brown and sort of pink in them. The hints of that on your fig are fabulous! And who doesn’t love clouds!
