Seascape Series

Seascape Series

Why Seascape Series? I can not wait to share, gentle reader! But first, here’s a warm (and bright colored) welcome to you. What happens here? I am glad you asked. Each week I share a colorful painting, a painting in progress or other painting related activities. My hope is these color clad images delight your eyes and lift your spirits! If you’re new here and would like to receive these weekly posts, subscribe here. Let’s look more closely at this week’s paintings, OK?

Show of Seascape Series

I’m excited to share that five of my paintings will be on view at the Diamante Arts & Culture Center. The opening is this Friday, April 25, 2025 which, sadly, I cannot attend. But! Don’t let that stop you from going. There will be so many wonderful paintings on view from artists here in the area. And, proceeds from the sale of these paintings benefit the center which is the oldest Latino Hispanic organization in North Carolina.

Here’s an online gallery of the paintings I’ll have on view!

The first painting is 9×12 inches and painted in oils on canvas paper. The second is 8×16 inches and painted in oils on panel. The third, fourth and fifth are 12×6 and painted in oils on panel. All are lovingly framed and ready to hang.

Looking at Art is Good for You

Even if your walls are full of art (cough cough) or your wall-et is empty, see if you can stop by this show. Why? Well, because looking at art in real life is really (really!) good for you. If you decide to pop by, please let me know. I would love to hear what you think of the show. (Hey – that rhymes!)

And, thank you, as always for being here!
