Leaf Season

Leaf Season

Leaf Season is the name of this week’s painting. Why? I’m so glad you ask. Stay tuned as I share the story about this week’s painting. But first, whether you are new here or not, know that this is a colorful painting place. Meaning? That means that each week I share a colorful painting for you to see and enjoy. My hope is that these colorful, affordable paintings will delight your eyes and – hopefully – lift your spirit or mood! OK on to this week’s painting.

Tis the Season for Leaves

Not sure if you are as enthusiastic about this time of year as I am? But I love this time of year. Why? I love the colors, sounds (think leaves crunching under your feet) and smells. And, so as I walk the dog and see leaves on the ground, I grab a few. And, here’s this week’s painting; fun leaf shapes.

This is just the start of fall. And, this is probably just the start of leaf paintings too. Wahoo! If you would like this whimsical painting for your very own, simply pay $85 + $6.16 Sales Tax + $25 Shipping = $116.16 by using this PayPal Link.

Fresh? Fresh!

For those of you living in or near Raleigh, stop by ArtSpace this weekend for First Friday and the Fresh 2024 Exhibit. See below the painting that will be on view along with 250+ others. It’s a still life tribute to NC’s rich soil for gardening vegetables and pottery making. The water pitcher in this painting is by craftsman and NC native Ronan Peterson. The painting is beautifully framed and for sale. Please stop by and see it and me.

Another Season Worth Mentioning

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the catastrophe that Hurricane Helene has created in western North Carolina. If you have resources to spare, please consider making a donation to the NC Disaster Relief Fund aka NC.gov/donate. Every little bit helps!

Thank you for reading here today. Please stay safe and take care!

I love that butternut squash and pitcher. They look like a marriage.
