Hey Hey Let’s Play
What’s up with saying “Hey Hey Let’s Play?” I can’t wait to share with you today! (Hey that rhymes). Before I share more, if you are new here, check out this link for a full description of the focus of this painterly blog. Now, on to this week’s painting, yes?
Where to Play
First, anywhere, is a fine place to play. I decided to embrace the “play” mindset for this week’s painting. Why? Oh why not. We landed in Canada over the past week and are sooooo grateful to be with dear friends while here. And, play, especially for us “older” kids, can be hard to come by sometimes.
So, this week, when I set out to paint. I decided to embrace a playful attitude. Here’s a photograph of the set up. Where are we? Ah! Paradise. Also, known as Murphy’s Camping on the Ocean. Everywhere you look, you see a beautiful and picturesque view.
Here’s one of them!

August 29, 2024Wow! Love the blue blue ocean! Have to look up Murphy’s cuz it looks as if that’s the same view as our friend’s across the bay to Lunenberg! Such a spot Nova Scotia is. Glad you are capturing its essence so well!

September 4, 2024Hiya Beth, The colors of the ocean are so beautiful here. Pretty sure Murphy’s Cove is east of Halifax (and therefore Lunenberg) but you know me and directions! Ha!
