Gingerbread Goodness
It’s time for gingerbread goodness, don’t you think? But, before I elaborate, here’s information about this blog. This is a place where, each week, I share my paintings, process, occasional infuences from art history, and inspiration. Whether this is your first or millionth visit here, hiya, hello and a warm welcome! I choose a theme to guide my paintings each year. To read about this year’s painting theme, check the description in this link here. To subscribe and get a weekly dose of color for yourself, subscribe here. Ready for more gingerbread goodness? OK! Here goes!
Gingerbread Cookie Says It All
That is, the image, says it all. The gingerbread story is a whole different adventure. Here’s one interpretation of it for any little ones in your world. My intent in creating this image was simple: to create a playful, even joyous image in this mayhem-packed, troubled world.
Here’s a slightly larger version for you. It’s 4×4 inches and painted in gouache on paper.
Yes it’s for sale for $27 + $1.96 tax + free shipping till December 10 = $29. Simply click the link below and pay to make it yours.
That Gingerbread Aroma
While we’re here, how ’bout imagining all those sweet and wonderful smells of holiday cooking. Oooh la la, I love those smells. Such as? How about spicy ginger or cinnamon? Or what about cranberry relish bubbling on the stove.
And so, like this little Gingerbread Cookie painting, I will keep this post short and sweet! Here’s wishing you and yours a gentle, friendly, peaceful, and abundant Thanksgiving and Holiday Season ahead.
